Terms

• You must be 18 or older to have an account.
• Keep your email and mobile number current. Sign-in codes go to your email; don't share them.
• You're responsible for bookings made from your account.
• You can delete your account at any time under Account.
• We may refuse a booking or close an account at any time, including for conduct described under “In the car”.

• Airport rides have a set price by town, airport and car size, shown before you book. Other trips are priced by quote.
• The price you confirm is the price for that ride, plus anything you add later, such as extra stops or waiting.
• Give accurate party size, bags and flight details. If the car we sent can't fit your party safely, we may need to send another car at an added cost.
• A booking fee may be added to each booking. It's shown before you pay.
• Prices can be higher for pickups late in the evening, overnight or early in the morning, and for pickups from international flights (for the wait through customs). These are shown in the price before you book.
• Your driver tracks your flight, so your pickup follows it. If a late-arriving flight delays your pickup, we may add a flight delay fee for your driver's extra time. When it applies, it's shown before you book.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. You may also pay by Zelle or another method the office agrees to. Tips are optional and go to your driver.

If you're not at the pickup and we can't reach you, the ride may be treated as a no-show and charged in full.

Give us your flight number so your driver can follow it. Your driver waits a set time after landing at no charge; after that, a waiting fee may apply, as shown when you book.

Connecticut law requires children to ride in the right car seat or booster for their age and size. You bring the seats, and you're responsible for installing them correctly unless your driver offers to help. On a round trip you can ask us to keep your seats until your return for $20 per seat.

• Pets ride in the crate or carrier you chose at booking. The pet fee depends on the crate size, plus a cleaning fee for pets that shed.
• Service dogs ride free with any driver. A service dog is trained to do work or a task for a person with a disability. Emotional support and therapy animals are not service dogs, and the pet fee applies.
• The driver may ask whether the dog is needed because of a disability and what task it is trained to do. We never ask for papers or about your disability.
• A dog that is out of control or not housebroken can be refused, and you can be charged for damage, as any rider would be.
• Booking a pet as a service dog to avoid the fee means the pet fee is charged afterward, and we may decline future bookings.

• Wear a seat belt. No smoking or vaping.
• No illegal items or open containers of alcohol.
• Treat your driver with respect. Rudeness, threats, harassment or riding while intoxicated aren't accepted.
• Please don't smoke before getting in if you can help it: smoke smell stays in the car for the next rider.
• Book for everyone who's riding. Extra riders who weren't booked cost an extra fee per person, which goes to the driver.
• You're responsible for damage you cause beyond normal wear, including cleaning.
• Drivers can report problems to the office. We review every report and hear your side before deciding anything.

• Report anything you left in the car from your trip. Your driver checks, and we hold found items at our office for 30 days.
• Pick it up for free, or we can bring it to you for a delivery fee based on distance.

Drivers are approved by SteadyRides after a background check and a review of their license, insurance and car. [Drivers are independent operators under a separate driver agreement.]

Referral and loyalty rewards have no cash value, can't be transferred, and expire after 12 months. We may change or end the rewards program with notice; rewards you've already earned stay valid until they expire.

We work hard to be on time, but traffic, weather and airlines are outside our control. [Limits on liability, for example for missed flights, to be written with a lawyer and matched to the insurance policy.]
